Q. What exactly is THEMIS?
A. THEMIS is the Greek Goddess of Justice. You often see her holding a set of scales. Sometimes she wears a blindfold. To us, it fits, as most of our clients are involved with the justice system in some way. THEMIS is also a play-on-words for The Management Information System.
Q. Who is RJ Lee Solutions?
A. RJ Lee Solutions is an affiliate of RJ Lee Group, Inc., headquartered in Monroeville PA. We have been providing integrated management systems since 1996.
Q. What do you mean by "integrated management systems"?
A. Because we draw from a deep and broad knowledge well, our experience allows us to assess your needs, and integrate the processes that define your operation. Whether you need a single component or need to tie numerous complex processes and systems together, we can help. In some cases, where no information management system exists, we provide one. In other cases, where multiple systems already exist, we come in and tie them together by bringing in new, updated technology that allows streamlining of processes and systems.
Q. What kind of systems can you integrate?
A. * Records Management Systems (RMS) such as Tiburon, Intergraph, Sun Ridge Systems, Data 911 and others.
* Outside (pre-existing) property room systems
* Internal database applications--if you've got one that you like and it works, we'll integrate it for you rather than reinventing the wheel and charging you for it!
* External reporting systems such as NFLIS, CODIS, AFIS, CJIC, Prop 36
Q. Can you interface instruments?
A. Yes! We've been writing instrument interfaces successfully since 1996. Here's a partial list of what we've done: HP Chemstation, Varian, Perkin Elmer, Waters, Thermo, ABI 310, ABI 3130, Dionex, presumptive testing equipment.
Q. What reporting software do you use?
A. We typically take advantage of the Microsoft Office Suite products to produce our reports, thereby eliminating additional, unnecessary costs to the customer, while still offering customizable, configurable reports modifiable by the customer. You can also use reporting software such as Crystal Reports.
Q. Do you sell off-the-shelf systems?
A. Sure! We can sell you an OTS product, but we've found that the great majority (96.78%) of OTS products actually stay ON THE SHELF, or similarly, ITD (in the drawer). We'd prefer to provide you a system that meets your needs, rather than one that merely takes up space in a drawer or on the shelf!
Q. Do you integrate hardware?
A. Yes, we integrate instruments, balances, barcode scanners, barcode printers, biometric devices, signature pads, key cards--you name it, we can integrate it!
